The Quad Cities VITA Coalition is spearheaded by United Way Quad Cities and in collaboration with AARP provides free income tax return preparation for taxpayers earning up to $67,000 annually.
VITA helps working families take advantage of all eligible tax credits for free. Volunteers from the community are needed to help prepare basic, current year tax returns for eligible taxpayers free of charge.
Volunteers will be required to complete a training and certification to help. In addition to tax preparers, volunteers are needed for intake and review.
Please note: Most tax preparation sites will run weeknights and some Saturdays
