Description

Give Quad Cities at-risk youth someone to look up to!

Join us for the 4th annual, Well Suited Tuxedo event on June 9, where Quad Cities men come together to celebrate young, at-risk boys in our community.  Well Suited pairs African American men with at-risk youth to share real life examples of overcoming obstacles, and the rewards of success all to encourage the young boys to live their best life.

Volunteers helping with the event will teach the young boys to properly put on a tuxedo, tie a tie, and the overall importance of grooming - all simple things that the group of young boys may not have the opportunity to experience. Once the men and boys are looking dapper, they will take a short walk to the Putnam Museum where they will partake in a professional photo shoot and enjoy a dinner with speakers and entertainment.

To help show these amazing young boys they matter to us, we will need 50 African American men to rent a tuxedo for both themselves and the boys (approximately $200 cost, dinner is free), spend time sharing grooming skills and finally enjoy dinner and the show with them.
