Are you passionate about advocating for survivors of domestic abuse and sexual abuse? We offer 64 Hours of Survivor Advocacy Training for volunteers. In person group sessions offered throughout the year with a minimum of three participants. There is no cost to the training if you are volunteering with Family Resources.
With this training you can serve as an Advocate in Survivor Services:
- Medical Advocacy
- Legal Advocacy
- HumanTrafficking
- Shelter & Housing Services
- Survivors of Homicide & Other Violent Crimes
A volunteer application with a background check may be required.
