The Arc of the Quad Cities Area is a not for profit that cares for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in our 17 group homes 24/7. This leaves little extra time for tasks such as Spring yard work. This home is in need of landscaping, weeding and possibly some trimming. They would also love the house, back screened in room and patio furniture power washed. Please help make the outside look as good as the inside. This is outdoor work and we can work with you to schedule the task at a time that fits your schedule.

Q: Please describe how your organization will ensure COVID-19 safety guidelines will be followed during this project. A: The work is outside and we are willing to provide face masks and gloves. The yard is big enough that social distancing will not be a problem. |

Q: What will you volunteers need to follow your COVID-19 safety guidelines? (Ex. masks, gloves, etc.) A: If you want to bring your own masks and gloves you can but we can provide them. As volunteers we ask you to do your part to follow the guidelines. With Covid we ask volunteers not to enter the home so if you need to use the restroom we ask you to go to the nearest gas station. |

Q: Please describe the volunteer check in process. (Example - volunteers will check in at the front office and will need a valid driver's license.) A: I will have a staff meet you at the site to check in and guide you to what needs done. At that time if the paperwork that will be emailed has not been received we will collect it. |

Q: Please list any skills volunteers will need to help with your project. A: Willing to get dirty roll up your sleeves if needed and make the yard come to life. Must be able to bend, lift bags of mulch and have an eye for detail. |
