Do you have an hour a month to move some tables and chairs? You can set up the room for our Red Cross blood drives!

Do you have about 90 minutes you could spare once a month or so?  (That includes time driving to and from our office!)  The American Red Cross needs a few strong-ish individuals or an existing group or club to come over to our office at 1100 River Drive in Moline to help us set up our local community blood drives.  We use a classroom for our blood drives so we need to move the tables and chairs out of the way so our blood collection staff can come in and set up beds and equipment.  What do we mean by "strong-ish"?  If you can lift and stack 2-3 chairs at a time or lift one side of a somewhat heavy table, you're strong enough.  A group of 4 individuals could get this done in less than an hour.  2 individuals could get it done within an hour or less.  A larger group is great because you have more people to ask when the blood drives fall on different dates and times, and members of your group will have different windows of availability.  No training is required; we'll show you what we need at your first blood drive set-up.  Let us know if you can help us form our new BLOOD DRIVE SETUP CREW!
