Project Renewal owns and maintains a neighborhood park for children and their families. Project Renewal's youth program uses the park regularly during our summer and afterschool youth programs. While we do daily/weekly maintenance, we could use some help for additional maintenance such as mulching our tree lines for weed control and beautification.
We can work together to coordinate getting the mulch to the park and then spreading in the needed areas. With a group of 5-10 volunteers this could be completed in a morning volunteer session or if a couple people want to work on it they can spend a couple hours each day until completed.
Day and Time can be determined - weekdays, evening, weekend - we are flexible in this project.
