Help the Red Cross install free smoke alarms in Davenport March 8

Did you know that a person's risk of dying in a home fire drops in half if they have working smoke alarms and an escape plan?  The American Red Cross is partnering with the Davenport Fire Department to Sound the Alarm on Saturday, March 8.  If you're handy with a drill and don't mind getting on a ladder to install free smoke alarms for local neighbors, we need YOU to join us for a meaningful and fun day.  We provide the tools and equipment, the smoke alarms, brief on-site training, free event t-shirts for all volunteers, and a light lunch and snacks.  You provide the compassion and a few hours of your time.
