Who We Are

Iowa Jobs for America?s Graduates (iJAG) provides high quality comprehensive drop-out prevention and school-to-work transition services for youth in 7th grade through the college level on a statewide basis. iJAG is an independent state-wide 501(c)(3) private nonprofit corporation established in Iowa in 1999 (modeled after the highly successful National JAG program) and was created to assist students with multiple barriers to graduating from high school and/or successfully transitioning from high school to continued education and careers. iJag has been in existence since 1999. In the 2015-16 school year iJAG served 44 programs and more than 2 500 students. Nationally the program is in 34 states and have served more than 1 million students. iJAG averages a 93.5 percent graduation rate among its high school students. The same student population without iJAG have a 65 percent graduation rate.
