Who We Are
Our organization serves more than 15,000 people annually in a number of programs that include wellness childcare youth outreach and development arts and humanities family development rhythm and movement aquatics and sports. Our constituents range in age from infants to seniors and reside primarily in the Illinois Quad Cities. All of our youth programs instill the core values of honesty caring respect and responsibility; building character and self-esteem in each child. The Two Rivers YMCA turns no child family adult or senior away due to the inability to pay. Income-based membership pricing ensures that everyone has the opportunity to participate in YMCA programs classes and activities in a safe and positive environment. Y programs and facilities are designed so individuals regardless of ability have the opportunity to reach their full God-given potential. The Two Rivers YMCA founded as the Moline YMCA has been in operation since 1885. The current Two Rivers YMCA Moline facility was built in 1970. Through all of the years the YMCA has stayed true to the mission of providing programs that build healthy spirit mind and body for all. The 40 Developmental Assets are the basis of the culture at the YMCA providing a nurturing environment that help children grow to become healthy in spirit mind and body.
