Who We Are

We are a volunteer-led mission-based relationship-building powerhouse. Our goal is to build a strong community by helping every individual overcome their most immediate obstacles in order to find their God-given potential. We accomplish our mission through the work of 8 branches including 5 branch facilities Camp Abe Lincoln a Child Care & Family Services branch that is the biggest in the county and a Youth Sports program that connects 7 000 participants every year. Our open collaborative nature drives us to work together and to partner with people families organizations and institutions with mutual goals and objectives. Let's work together! The Scott County Family Y has been serving the Quad Cities since 1858. As a charitable organization we are most importantly a diverse inclusive association made stronger by the relationships of our constituents. We operate on the philosophy of serving all people and maintaining diverse funding streams: program service fees grants private contributions public dollars and private foundations. This operating principle has kept the Scott County Family Y a strong viable and creative force in our community for over 150 years. Our highly-trained and committed staff seek to motivate and connect people through programs. We are well trained committed individuals who have achieved professional certifications in each of our fields of expertise. In addition strong backgrounds in fiscal personnel and program development ensure dollars collected by the organization are utilized as efficiently and effectively as possible.
