Rick's House Of Hope

Rick's serves children ages 3-18 and family members from the QC and nearby counties. We serve those with grief loss or trauma issues. Death of a loved one and divorce are common; however any sort of traumatic event or family change would fit our criteria such as: bullying teen dating victimization/harassment crime victims and other needs. Rick's services are at no cost. We offer support groups day camps individual/family counseling (up to 5 free sessions) and special awareness events. In 1998 Reverend Robyn Plocher teamed with Reverend Rick Johnson to provide a perpetual program of care to grieving children in the QC area. Over time that mission expanded to include other overlooked children and families experiencing trauma life changes and divorce. In July 2015 Rick's merged with Vera French to continue offering important programs and services to our community.

Rick's Mission is to ensure the needs of children who are grieving and traumatized are not overlooked.
