Who We Are
Habitat for Humanity Quad Cities is a 501c3 nonprofit Christian housing organization established in 1993. We are an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International serving Rock Island County, IL and Scott County, IA. We build strength stability and self reliance through shelter. We have a vision of a world where everyone has a decent and affordable place to call home.
What We Do
Our Mission: Habitat for Humanity Quad Cities is empowered by God to build and renovate homes, to revitalize our community and to restore hope.
With the help of donors, sponsors, and thousands of volunteers, we construct new homes that are sold to Habitat program participants with a no-interest mortgage and payments that are 30% or less of their household income. We also have a neighborhood revitalization program and home repair program for low income homeowners.
Our Programs:
New Home Construction
Neighborhood Revitalization
Home Repairs and Wheelchair Ramps
Volunteers must be at least 16 years old to participate.
