Who We Are

The Center for Active Seniors Inc.(CASI) is a multi-service nationally accredited senior center providing a variety of social educational support and wellness activities and programs designed for adults 50+. Supportive services include the Aging Resource and Advocacy Center which links older adults their families and caregivers with local state and federal benefits and programs. These supportive services enable them to maintain their independence and remain in their home and community for a longer length of time. Jane's Place CASI's Adult Day Center offers therapeutic activities within a group setting to disabled adults and older adults needing a more supervised and supportive environment. CASI was founded in 1973 by the merger of the Scott County Commission on Aging and Senior Iowans a program of the Davenport Catholic Charities. CASI has served the QCA for thiry five years by helping the older adults of Scott County meet nutrional emotional and health related needs. For 16 years CASI's headquarters was the Lend A Hand Building in downtown Davenport. In 1990 due to riverfront development the center was relocated to its current location. The expansion of the facility in 2006 has allowed CASI to increase the number of programs and services offered to older adults and the QCA communtiy.

What We Do

CASI's mission is to provide services that promotes independence and enriches the lives of older adults through socialization, health and wellness, and supportive services.
