The Boys and Girls Clubs of the Mississippi Valley provide youth development services for youth ages 6-18 during the critical out-of school time. Our mission is ?to inspire and enable all young people especially those who need us most to realize their full potential as productive responsible and caring citizens.? The Boys and Girls Club provides a safe place to learn and grow; ongoing relationships with caring adult professionals; life-enhancing programs and character development experiences; and hope and opportunity. Programs are offered in five areas: Character and Leadership Development; Education and Career Development; Health and Life Skills; The Arts; and Sports Fitness and Recreation. These programs promote and enhance the development of boys and girls by instilling: a sense of belonging a sense of usefulness a sense of influence and a sense of competence. Clubs are open from immediately after school until 7:00pm Friday Teen Nights until 10:00pm and full days during the summer.
