Colonel Davenport Historical Foundation

The CDHF is an all-volunteer organization formed in 1978 to preserve the Colonel Davenport House, located on Arsenal Island in Rock Island, Illinois, and to tell the story of the life of Colonel George Davenport and the development of the Quad Cities region and upper Mississippi River corridor through educational outreach programs and on-site programs to the local community, Quad Cities school districts, and visitors.

The Colonel Davenport Historical Foundation (CDHF) mission is to preserve the Colonel Davenport House and site, and foster knowledge of the history and development of the Quad Cities region through tours of the house, exhibits, and educational programming.
