Help us give one of Camp Liberty's coziest accommodations the welcoming exterior it deserves! Bird's Nest Cabin has a unique history at Camp Liberty. Originally serving as a camp office, the building was recently renovated into a charming cabin for two. Today, it provides comfortable lodging for adults attending trainings and special events, as well as male volunteers who accompany Girl Scout troops during camp programs. While the interior has been transformed into a warm and inviting retreat, the exterior is ready for a refresh. Volunteers will help prepare and repaint the cabin's exterior, giving Bird's Nest a fresh new look that matches the charm found inside.
Project tasks may include:
- Scraping and preparing exterior surfaces
- Sanding and minor paint preparation
- Applying a fresh coat of paint
- Helping improve the overall appearance of the cabin
