Description

the interior demolition of an 8-plex building down to the studs. Work includes removal of interior finishes, walls, cabinets, bathroom components, and related materials needed to prepare the units for the next phase of renovation.

·         Remove interior wall materials as directed, exposing framing down to the studs.

·         Remove cabinets, vanities, bathroom fixtures, and other built-in components identified for demolition.

·         Remove damaged, outdated, or unwanted interior materials from each unit.

·         Use appropriate hand tools and power tools to complete demolition safely and efficiently.

·         Collect, stage, and remove demolition debris from work areas as directed.

·         Utilities and water are currently off the property. All workers should confirm site conditions before beginning work and should not assume that electrical, plumbing, gas, or water systems are active unless verified by the party responsible.

·         Tools expected on site include hand tools, saws, sledge hammers, drills, pry bars, and other demolition tools required to complete the work.

·         Workers must wear appropriate clothing for summer work conditions and use required personal protective equipment.

·         Work areas should be checked for hazards before demolition begins.

·         Only authorized personnel should enter active demolition areas.

·         Debris should be managed to reduce trip hazards, dust, and blocked access routes.

·         Any suspected hazardous materials, unexpected structural concerns, or utility issues should be reported before continuing work in that area.

·         Demolition debris shall be gathered, staged, and removed from the units and common areas as directed. Work areas should be left reasonably clean and accessible at the end of the day.
