The walkway to Rock Islands Rock Island Center for Math & Science is overgrown and needs to be cut back and cleared to allow a clear and welcoming path for children to access their school. Additionally, the front of the school needs to be cleared of weeds and debris, and mulch laid so that children have a place to grow and learn that looks welcoming and inviting, so they can take pride in a place where they will be spending their day.
Please bring your own yard tools, especially hedge clippers, trimmers, weed whackers, gloves, rakes, shovels, etc. Some of the hedges are high and step ladders would be useful.
