New Kingdom Trailriders is a therapeutic riding facility located in Sherrard, IL. Our mission is to empower individuals of all ages and abilities to reach their full potential through equine assisted activities.
Our property sits on roughly 30 acres of land, which for only 3 full time staff can be a never ending project in itself. We are looking for volunteers to assist us with a variety of outdoor yard tasks that need to be accomplished (clean fence lines, move trees that are down, move logs to burn piles. mow grass, pull weeds etc.). If you have an edger, weed eater, mower, gardening tools etc. Please feel free to bring them with you as we are very short on tools that are available. We also have some additional painting that needs to be completed in the barn and spring cleaning seems to never end.
