Teach families fire safety and prevention with the Red Cross on March 8

Did you know that the risk of dying in a home fire drops in half when you have working smoke alarms and a fire escape plan?  We're installing free smoke alarms in Davenport next Saturday--but we don't just need people to do the installations, we also need educators to work with each family to ensure they know exactly what to do, if or when that alarm goes off.  If you're friendly and good with people, we want YOU to help us with our Sound the Alarm event in Davenport on March 8. We provide the informational materials, brief on-site training for you, a light lunch and snacks, and a free t-shirt for all volunteers.  You provide the smile, the desire to help, and a few hours of your time.  Let's do this together!
