DRIVERS (2 hours shifts or longer needed): Drivers needed to either follow a postal carrier on a route picking up bags with non-perishable food items in them (either at the mailbox – or on the porch) – or, be given a choice of routes to pick from, or you can meet a postal carrier on their route to unload bags of food out of their postal truck into your vehicle to bring back to the post office you’re volunteering at (it may take 2 trips of you don’t have a big enough vehicle or enough helpers). When you get to your Post Office to volunteer to drive, please remember to pick up the “FOOD DRIVE VOLUNTEER” signs that you will need to tape to a window on either side of your vehicle.
