Opportunities From: United Way Quad Cities

NormaLeah has a need for a Photography Volunteer to capture memories of our special events and programs. This individual will photograph formal and candid shots at our fundraising events. Photos will need to be turned over to NormaLeah within one week of the event to share on social media and for use in future promotions. Recognition will be given when applicable. This is an excellent way for a photographer to get their talent and images circulating throughout the Quad Cities!

NormaLeah Ovarian Cancer Initiative is in need of Office Support Volunteers. Our needs includes organizational tasks such as alphabetizing and counting. We often have large mailing projects which require envelope stuffing. If you would like to get more involved, clerical and bookkeeping projects come up, as well. This opportunity will be designed according to your abilities, interests, and schedule. We will partner with you in determining your own office support description.

Are you a creative designer who has an eye for graphics? NormaLeah Ovarian Cancer Initiative has a need for a Graphic Design Volunteer to assist with designing a variety of print and media pieces. This opportunity can be done from the comfort of your own home and may include pieces such as invitations, social media images, programs, etc. This volunteer is crucial for the success of our special events and allows NormaLeah staff to focus on fundraising and mission advancement.

Our FREE life-saving educational print materials are vital to the success of informing women about the subtle symptoms of ovarian cancer. Many of our materials require small assembly and packaging that must be complete before mailing materials to our advocates. As an Educational Outreach Volunteer, you will arrange a time to assemble print materials either in the NormaLeah office or arrange pick up for them to be assembled at home. We invite you to share this opportunity with a friend. Most things are more enjoyable when shared. We are also looking for volunteers to staff our events and community health fairs.
