Volunteer: Clubhouse VolunteerEmpower House is looking for additional volunteers to assist in the operations of our daily programming (Tuesday-Thursday 9am-3pm). We are hopeful to find people who are able to volunteer on a regular basis (ideally 1x per week). However, Empower House is a very flexible and relaxed environment, and we'd love to have you no matter what your schedule looks like- even if that is only for half a day. Volunteer tasks include assisting members (brain injury survivors) with completion of operational Clubhouse tasks, such as writing thank you notes, prepping lunch, and basic cleaning tasks. Basic computer skills helpful. Staff, members, and volunteers all work side by side to complete the daily tasks, so you will never be without support as a volunteer! Volunteer: Events Committee VolunteersWe are looking for passionate, dedicated, fun people to serve on our events committee. No previous event experience required. Evening meetings approximately once a month- held both virtually and in person. This committee helps plan and run our major annual fundraiser, held in October. This event is a casual, family friendly environment. The committee also helps plan some other minor events throughout the year, but the main focus is on our annual fundraiser in October.
