Who We Are

The Freight House Farmers Market is a nonprofit organization operating a year around farmers market out of the historic Freight House Market Place on the riverfront in Davenport, IA. There is a rich history of farmers bringing their produce to market by rail into the freight house station. Our market continues the tradition by providing a direct connection to more than 150 vendors with roots in Iowa and Illinois, including farms, nurseries, bakeries, meat and seafood providers, cheese makers and specialty food producers. We are a community gathering spot. Here we celebrate our diverse community, healthy active lifestyles, fresh sustainable foods and products, education and the farm to table initiative.
