Who We Are
We provide residential services a day training program respite and work related services for approximately 400 individuals in the Quad Cities with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Our residential program provides 24 hour 7 day a week care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We have 19 group homes in the community called Community Integrated Living Arrangements that range from 4 to 8 residents. In addition we serve several individuals in Intermittent community Living arrangements that allows them to maintain as much independence as possible while giving them the supports for success. We have Day Training programs which provides care training and work for individuals Monday through Friday during the day. We have Work Services and Community Employment Services programs that help provide work for individuals with disabilities as well as help the individuals we serve work in the community. In addition we offer assistive technology, adventures with the Arc, a self advocacy group called Speak out and more. We are a non profit organization funded primarily through the State of Illinois. We continually look to expand our services and seek additional income opportunities to help fund those services. We staff and run the Arsenal Mail Room, and the commissary which not only provides a means for income for the agency but also provides employment opportunities for the individuals we serve.
