Who We Are
The Center for Alcohol & Drug Services Inc. is a private non-profit corporation offering a full continuum of substance abuse treatment services in Scott County Iowa and Rock Island County Illinois. The Center for Alcohol & Drug Services Inc. began in 1967 with the opening of the Scott County Research Foundation (SCARF) and in 1969 the opening of Quint Cities Drug Abuse Council. These two programs merged their staff and Board Members in 1980 to become the Center for Alcohol & Drug Services. Since that time the CENTER has worked with various entities to design develop and deliver a variety of substance abuse treatment and prevention programs and services throughout Scott County Iowa and Rock Island County Illinois.

Our Mission The Center for Alcohol & Drug Services Inc. is a non-profit organization established to provide quality substance abuse education prevention assessment treatment and referral services for individuals groups and organizations in eastern Iowa and western Illinois funded through a combination of private and public funds as well as client fees. Our Vision Our vision is that the CENTER will be seen as a Community Driven Institution which provides vibrant healthy lifestyle choices and compassionate prevention and treatment services. Therefore we strive to ensure the Community has practical information for accomplishing these visionary ends. We strive to be the Substance Abuse Agency of Choice in our community.
