Who We Are

Guests are the homeless of the area the poor families seniors those with physical and mental disabilities and those with addictions. Many are unemployed or under-employed. The agency operates on the generosity of the community for donations of cash food and volunteer time. Cafe on Vine was founded in the fall of 2007 following the closure of the feeding site by John Lewis Community Services. It became a United Way agency in the summer of 2009. In its nearly four years of operation it has served nearly 200 000 meals to the hungry of our community.
