Who is Zion Lutheran Church? a people, not a building How do you sum up a congregation that's been proclaiming Christ for over 160 years? Resilient, maybe. Graced, because this longevity is no human accomplishment alone. To me, Zion has an open, trusting spirit and a heart for this neighborhood. Zion is hungry for the Word, learning to listen, learning to receive as much care as Zion gives. Zion is figuring out how to preach Jesus in a new generation. But don't take my word for it. Zion is a place of Christian worship. Zion operates a Food Pantry for the neighborhood and community. Zion provides meal site space for the Churches United Free Meal Monday-Friday 5:30pm-6:00pm
