Description

Tapestry Farms and the Foundation of First Presbyterian Church partnered together last year to renovate two large homes previously slated for demolition. After extensive renovations, the houses will be rented this fall to two refugee families, at an affordable monthly rent. The houses, are located near Madison Elementary School, a school that Tapestry Farms children attend. Families are set to move in this fall. Volunteers at this site will trim bushes, clear plant beds, till a garden, put down mulch and weed. Please wear closed-toe shoes, a water bottle, and garden tools you believe will be helpful.
